I embroidered the cover for this footstool some years back. I have in mind another footstool I would like to repurpose. Any suggestions for choice of fabric would be greatly appreciated.

I am such a procastinator...

I started this pillowcase set in 2013, came across it while organizing my sewing room, walla--DONE!

Rome wasn't built in a day!!

I started this in 2015. Many weddings have passed so I will have to wait until the next one before adding words to it and framing. Until then, in the dresser drawer it goes with all my other UFO's!

I can't wait for summer, I need all the leaves I can find!

My second attempt at a bird...

I did not know you could embroider leaves!

In poking around Google+ I came across this awesome lady "click here for link". I love her works! Did you know you can embroider leaves? We have had snow, here in Rochester, NY, but I did manage to find leaves while on visits to doctor's, dining out and shopping for groceries. My first attempt at embroidering leaves--it turned out to be a cross between a bird and a fish; I will call it my Flying Fish!

Some More Redwork

I love to embroider tea towels. I do these when riding in the car. Daytime I try other projects--needlepunch, curtains, pillowcases and such. Evenings I cross stitch while watching TV. If time permits, I squeeze in some housework.

One Of My Favorite Things To Do

I am not a great driver but a great back seat driver (everyone has to be great at something). This seems to be an annoyance to most people, maybe because I am constantly screaming "watch out". I knew I had to find a hobby to take my mind off the road--when a passenger in a car. I taught myself how to embroider and now have a stash of redwork. I have no idea what to do with them, but problem solved! I think the following images probably came from a blog "Redwork In Germany".
