What To Do???
I am always wanting something to do while sitting in the doctor's office. What works for me is embroidering pages for a quiet book Click here! --just need to bring along a piece of fabric, needle, thread, and my binocular glasses. After having cataract surgery I have 20/20 vision but needed glasses size 6+ (which I could only find online) for doing counted cross stitching.

DIY Card Holders
I made of few of these way back in June 2008. My next project is making a few more (enlarging the pattern a bit and doing some hand embroidery to customize).

I NEED a tablet!
I am wanting to create my own animations and started to teach myself via the Internet back in 2015. Hey, I can't draw a circle using my mouse. I need a tablet that I can draw circles on using my finger.

OMG, it has been so long since I last posted!!!
First thing I have to do is learn to post all over again; hoping I don't have to customize my fonts and all that good stuff !!
I started my 151 Pokeman's counted cross stitch project back in April 2016. I have an old footstool that was made by my husband's grandmother. It is well over one hundred years old so I thought it would be cool to cover with something from a much later era. About one month ago I realized I calculated the size of the material INCORRECTLY. I am only half way through cross-stitching the pattern and I am on page 16 of 30 pages. That is what I need to cover my footstool and then I will not have enough fabric to finish the other 14 pages. If I purchase the same amount of material I can start with page 15 and continue on to page 30 and cover my circular piano stool with the second half of the 151 Pokeman's and then some. I will be posting pictures soon!

I Just Did...
What do you think about my twins, are they not beautiful?

While at the beauty salon having my hair cut, I noticed the hair on some of the busts (used by students to learn their cutting skills) was quite short. My first thought was how expensive it must be to have to keep buying new wigs for teaching purposes. So... I had to ask just how expensive it was. Come to find out, the heads are made of rubber. When the hair gets too short to work on, the heads get tossed. My second thought was "I want one". I didn't know why I wanted one--I just did.
I could probably use one (or two) for many reasons.
1. Owing to more people buying homes in our neck of the woods, the deer are liking our veggies more every year. Fencing what we can, scattering hair, soap, and spraying helps. Oh my why not dress up my garden with twins in lieu of a scarecrow?
2. As a passenger in our car?
3. I am about to sew my first bucket hat. Perfect for trying out proper size!
4. Seated somewhere in our home (I love it)?
